Herman plays a variety of plucked string instruments including guitar, mandolin, ukulele and machete de braga. His speciality is early music, particularly music from the 19th century. He regularly performs in England, France, Germany, Spain and Malaysia as well as in his native country Belgium. Herman’s expressive and stylistic playing can be enjoyed in his many YouTube videos. His repertoire includes arrangements for ukulele of pieces by JS Bach, Sanz, Dowland, Telemann and more.
